  [S927] Obituary. 590. Dorothy May Mohney from The Punxsutawney Spirit Dorothy May Mohney 90, Brookville, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at McKinley Health Care. She was born Feb. 21, 1916, in Emerickville, the daughter of the late Blaine and Edith (Shobert) Fyock. She was married to Harold Sprague, who preceded her in death. She then married Harry "Tyke" Mohney, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Mohney had been employed at Sylvania in Brookville and Jefferson Manor. She was a member of the Emerickville Church of God and liked to sew, crochet and garden. She also loved cats. Surviving relatives include two sisters, Ruby Brosius of Knox Dale and Helen Fike of Brookville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, Leroy, Gerald and Ernest Fyock. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, Brookville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Emery officiating. Interment will follow in Emerickville Church of God Cemetery. Memorials may be placed with the Emerickville Church of God.
