Esther Entzi, 91, Wishek, N.D., died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, in the Wishek Home for the Aged, Wishek.
Esther Munsch was born Aug. 29, 1915, in Logan County, North Dakota, the daughter of Karl Sr. and Ottila (Widmer) Munsch. She attended the local rural school and grew up in the area where she helped on the family farm. She married Andrew Entzi on Oct. 3, 1932, at Ashley, N.D. They lived on a farm southwest of Fredonia, N.D., where they farmed from 1932 to 1973. They then retired and moved into Lehr. He died March 6, 1988. She moved to Wishek in February 2001. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lehr, N.D.
She is survived by two sons, Fred, Strausburg, N.D.,and Leo (Patricia), Fredonia; two daughters, Lucille (Ervin) Glaesman, Lehr, and Arlys (Marvin) Kuhn, Gackle, N.D.; a sister, Hulda Nelson, Barrett, Minn.; a brother, Herman (Lucille), Kulm, N.D.; two sisters-in-law, Rose Veil, Eugene, Ore., and Selma Entzi, Lodi, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, her parents, four brothers and six sisters.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lehr, with the Rev. Daniel Pelletier officiating.
Visitation: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Haut Funeral Homes, Wishek.
Burial: Lehr Cemetery, Lehr.
