Arthur Sayler Birth: Dec. 12, 1910 Venturia McIntosh County North Dakota, USA Death: Sep. 12, 1965 Aberdeen Brown County South Dakota, USA From the OBITUARY of Arthur SAYLER: Arthur SAYLER, 54, Ipswich farmer, died Sunday morning as St. Luke's Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold E. Salem officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. SAYLER was born Dec. 12, 1910 at Venturia, McIntosh County, North Dakota and grew to manhood there. He married Ella BENDER on Oct. 17, 1935 and established their first home in Ashley, North Dakota. They lived in various places in North and South Dakota before coming to Ipswich, Edmunds County, South Dakota in 1963. Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Milbert (Evangeline) Ottenbacher, Aberdeen; seven brothers, William, Fred and Asoph, all of Aberdeen; John and Otto, both of Portland, Oregon, Jacob of Lodi, California; and Wilbur, of Bismarck, North Dakota; one sister, Mrs. George Werre, Wishek, North Dakota; and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the Gates Funeral Home on Tuesday.
