Notes for MARCELINE JANE BUZZARD: Obit & funeral info from Huntington Herald-Press: Mrs. Marceline J. Stricker, 45, died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday in the Huntington Memorial Hospital, where she was admitted Oct. 8. She had been in failing health the last two and one-half years. A lifelong resident of the Huntington area, she had resided at 1405 Riverside Drive the last 23 years and was employed for 11 years at Wabash Magnetics until 7 months ago. She was a member of the Grayston Avenue United Brethren Church. Mrs. Stricker was born July 19, 1929 in Huntington to Wilbur H. and Mary Holzinger Buzzard and her marriage was on July 2, 1950 to Fred E. Stricker, who survives. Surviving in addition to the husband are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur H. Buzzard, Rt. 7, three children, Judy, Jane and Jim Stricker, all at home, two brothers, Morris and Max Buzzard both at Rt. 7 and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Marvel) Harris, Rt. 9. Friends may call at the Bailey Mortuary after 7 p.m. Wednesday where the funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Richard Frederick officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. We also want to extend our appreciation to Drs. Kay Wheeler and Peare to Dr. Wayne Miller, the Huntington Hospital staff and especially nurses and aides on the second floor for their care and extra courtesies during her hospital confinement. Stricker were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bailey Mortuary with Rev. Richard Frederick officiating. Honoray pallbearers were Jerry Buzzard, Jack Waikel, Robert E. Bruner, Robert Harper and Charles Brumbaugh and active pallbearers included Rex Buzzard, Dick Buzzard, Walter Beghtel, Herbert Oden, Ray Flynn and Robert Fordyce. Burial was in the Gardens of Memory.
