  [S927] Obituary. KEIZER - Martha A. Murphy, 73, died Friday, April 18, 2008.  She was born in Menno, S.D., later moving to Oakes, S.D.In 1948, the family moved to Salem, Ore., where Martha attended Parrish Junior High School and North Salem High School.  After graduation, Martha worked for several state agencies, including the Department of Motor Vehicles and Department of Employment.  After retirement, Martha continued to enjoy reading and was a fan of sports.Survivors include her daughter, Sherryl Ann Murphy; a brother, Glen Neuharth of Jefferson; sisters, Julia Hansen of Viborg, S.D., Loralie (Boyd) Barth of Lodi, Calif., Minnie Hunnex of Salem, and Audrey Wheeler of Salem; and her loving caregiver, Betty Sturm.Visitation will be from 12 - 6 p.m. on Tue., April 22 with services at 10 a.m. on Wed., April 23. Both at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
