Luella Herr TRIPP — Luella Lenora Herr, 76, Tripp, died Sunday (May 20, 2001) at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Frieden's Reformed United Church of Christ, Tripp, with the Rev. Greg Way officiating. Burial is in Frieden's Reformed Cemetery, Tripp. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Petrik-Kelley Memorial Chapel, Tripp. She was born March 1, 1925, at Tripp, to Charlie and Mathilda (Guthmiller) Pietz. She married Reno Herr Jan. 3, 1943, at Tripp. She worked for the Tripp Good Samaritan Center from 1968 to 1987 as a nurses aid. She also worked for the Frieden's Reformed UCC Church as a custodian for several years. She was a member of Frieden's Reformed UCC Church. She is survived by her two daughters: Norma (Leroy) Bertsch, Emery; Linda Herr, Gillette, Wyo.; four sisters: Laura Stoebner, Mitchell; Gertrude Jumps, Sun Valley, Nev.; Ruby Luebe, Pierce, Neb.; Arlene Preszler, Menno; two brothers: Emil Pietz, Richmond, Calif.; and Milo Pietz, Huron.
