Harold Brignadello
Harold Brignadello, 87, Kewanee, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Rux, Kewanee. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rux. Burial is in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kewanee.
Surviving are his wife, Naomi; daughter, Sharon Chamberlain, Bloomington, Ill.; daughter-in-law, Pat Brignadello, Peoria; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven siblings including, Harry Asbell, Louise White, Norma Nyman, all of Kewanee, Marion Tracy, Galesburg, and Marjorie Morey, Cambridge.

KEWANEE - Harold Anthony Brignadello, 87, of Kewanee, died at 4:10 a.m., Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2006 at the Rux Funeral Home, Kewanee. Brian Giese will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 13 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kewanee. Military rites will be accorded by the Kewanee Veterans Council. Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church Building Fund.
Mr. Brignadello was born on May 30, 1919 in Rock Island, IL, the son of Harold Joseph and Ruby (Comstock) Brignadello. He married Naomi Fultz in 1960 in Kewanee. She survives as well as a daughter, Sharon Chamberlain of Bloomington, IL, a daughter-in-law, Pat Brignadello of Peoria, IL, 5 grandchildren, Bruce Chamberlain & Lorie (Dave) Scott both of Bloomington, IL, Marcie (Bill) Powell of Monroe, MI, Meredith Brignadello of Chicago, IL and Meghan Brignadello of Peoria, IL, 7 great grandchildren, Lucus Chamberlain, Madison, Keeley & Parker Theabald all of Bloomington, IL, Charlie, Ellie & David Powell both of Monroe, MI, a brother, Harry (Rochelle) Asbell of Kewanee, 6 sisters, Louise White & Norma Nyman both of Kewanee, Marion Tracy of Galesburg, IL, Marjorie Morey of Cambridge, IL, Evelyn (Robert) Larson of Sarasota, FL and Sarah (Maurice) Corwin of Venice, FL and a number of nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Leona Thurwager, step father, Charles Asbell, a son, Harold ?Denny' Brignadello, son-in-law, Larry Chamberlain, grandson, Peter Theobald, 3 sisters, Julia (Asbell) Cone, Irene (Asbell) Dyer, Thelma Asbell, 2 brothers, Leroy Asbell & Paul Asbell.
He graduated from Kewanee High School in 1938. He served his country in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific Theater; LST 355 Mariana Islands, during WWII. He had worked for the Walworth Company for 44 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the VFW post 8078.
