MR. EMIL HAHNENBERG

ANDERSON, SC ??? Mr. Emil Joseph Hahnenberg, age 90, husband of Fay Hahnenberg of 4611 Great Oaks Drive, Anderson, SC, died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Lake Leelanau MI, Mr. Hahnenberg was the son of the late Jacob and Alphonsine Schaub Hahnenberg. He was a retired photo engraver and Assistant Superintendent of the photo engraving dept. of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer Newspaper in Cleveland Ohio. He retired to the Anderson area in 1979, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus, The American Legion and was a US Army WWII veteran.
Survivors include, his wife, Fay Hahnenberg of the home; his son, Rick Hahnenberg of Spartanburg, SC and his daughter, Linda Ann Grace of Medina, OH and five grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated by the Reverend Father James N. Dubrouillet. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Military Honors.
A prayer vigil will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at The McDougald Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 8:00 pm.
The family will be at the residence.
Flowers are to be omitted and memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1303 McLees Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
