Edward's funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave, Rochester. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.Edward was born and raised in Rochester, NY where he attended Holy Family school. He was a Class of 43 graduate of Aquinas Institute and was a member of the Latin Club while there.While working as an usher at the Murray movie theater, Ed met Estelle. They were later married at Holy Apostles church and that marriage lasted 67 years!Edward served our country in the Navy during World War II, and spent 40 years working as an engineer at Eastman Kodak. In his spare time, he liked to vacation in Canada at Black Lake and spent time at the cottage in Port Bay.Some of Ed's favorite activities included hunting, fishing, water sports including scuba and boating. He liked taking pictures and creating prints and movies. Edward was a fan of the Oakland Raiders and the Rochester Red Wings.Family and friends would best describe Ed as being strong-willed, loving, hard working, having a conservative political view, and very patriotic. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
