  [S927] Obituary. John Henry Crumpacker1921 - 2003 John H. Crumpacker, 82 of Huntington died at 11:34 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Mr. Crumpacker had worked as a high pressure boiler operator for 27 years at Dana/Spicer Axle Division in Marion. He also had worked for over 25 years at Zahm Greenhouse and Horse Farm. He was a member of the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He and his wife had wintered in Lake Placid, Florida for the past 21 years.Mr. Crumpacker was born on April 23, 1921 in Cass County, Hoover, Indiana a son of Joel H. and Dora E. Hile Crumpacker.He was united in marriage to Angeline C. Zahm on June 12, 1945 at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Huntington. His wife survives.Additional survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Harold (Marilyn) Rittenhouse of Huntington; Ms. Jean A. Millican of Roanoke; Mrs. Ron (Joann) Henry of Huntington, a brother: Donald Crumpacker of Fort Wayne, three sisters: Grace Hess of Huntington; Edna Payne of Magnolia, TX; Sarah Kaufman of Magnolia, TX, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.Two brothers: Benjamin Crumpacker; Albert Crumpacker, a sister: Bertha Mae Crumpacker and a grandson: Robert J. Crumpacker preceded him in death.Visitation will be on Friday, January 2, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 PM at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.Services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 840 Cherry Street, Huntington with Father John Guimond officiating.Interment will be at the Mt.
