  [S927] Obituary. Matilda Reber Former Bus. Owner, 91 Matilda Reber of Eldred died Saturday, September 2, 2006 in Milford, Pa. She was 91 years of age. The daughter of Max and Clara Brenell Rust, she was born February 14, 1915 in New York City. She was the widow of Hermann F. Reber who died June 25, 1971. They married on February 5, 1944. Matilda was the former owner of Reber?s Restaurant, Barryville, and a member of Highland Seniors Group, AARP, and the Town of Lumberland Senior Citizens. Survivors include one son, Frederick Reber and his wife Eileen of Barryville; one daughter, Erica Reber Levey and her husband, Spencer, of Warren, N.J.; four grandchildren, Hermann Reber of Barryville, Erin Reber of Philadelphia, Pa., Alex Levey of Warren, N.J. and Dina Levey of Warren, N.J. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be made in Montoza Cemetery, Barryville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Ambulance, P.O. Box 63, Eldred, NY 12732 or the Yulan Fire Dept., P.O. Box 127, Yulan, NY 12792. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gray-Rasmussen Funeral Home, Barryville.
