Yost, 85, of 221 West Marietta St., Woodsfield, died June 9, 1998, at the Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville, where she had been a resident for three weeks. She was born November 25, 1912, in Woodsfield, a daughter of the late John and Louise Claus Feldner. A graduate of Woodsfield High School, she was a former news correspondent for the Cambridge Jeffersonian, and a homemaker, she was also a lifetime member of the St. Paul?s United Church of Christ Woodsfield and a former member of the Woodsfield Garden Club. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn Yoss, Ashland, Ohio, Barbara and Roger Schumacher and wife, Patricia, of Loveland, Ohio, Roger Schumacher, of Boise, Idaho, Charles Yoss and wife, Ann, of Springboro; three granddaughters, Mrs. Ray (Jane Yoss) Hobson, of Jeromesville, Mrs. Brad (Kate Yoss) Long, of Ashland, Ohio, Mrs. Alex (Elizabeth Schumacher) Beauford, of Cincinnati, Ohio; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford (Tip) Yost, in February 1981, whom she married in 1932.
