  [S927] Obituary. ROSSVILLE -- Ruth Winifred Kochert, 87, of Louisa, Ky., formerly of Rossville, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at Louisa. Born June 13, 1918, in Kirklin Township, Clinton County, she graduated from Frankfort High School in 1936. She had lived in Frankfort for 22 years, Rossville for 50 years and in Mooresburg, Tenn., for seven years, before moving to Louisa in August. She married Harold R. Kochert on Aug. 18, 1940, in Frankfort, and he died July 10, 1998. Mrs. Kochert had been a clerk at Osco Drug Store and the former Shopper's Fair Store, both in Lafayette. She attended Rossville United Methodist Church and served as a substitute Sunday school teacher for the adult class at the former Moran United Methodist Church and was a former district Methodist Church officer. She was a member of Owen and Ross Township Home Demonstration clubs and Rossville Present Day Club. Surviving are a son, Larry R. Kochert (wife: Crystal) of Blaine, Ky., and a daughter, Patricia Jean Durbin (husband: Dean) of Chula Vista, Calif.
