Jacob married Christina MARTEL (12 Sep 1861 - 21 Jul 1944) on the 24th of February 1881 in Kassel, Glueckstal, Odessa, South Russia. This union was blessed with no less than 12 children. Jacob at the age of 25 with his wife Christina and their children Johann and Christina, immigrated to America in 1884.
