Singer were held at the Crawford Cemetery, August 10, 1998. He died in Crawford on August 5th, 1998 at the Ponderosa Villa Nursing Home. He was born in Crawford on October 17th, 1933 to Bertha (Sis Langos) and Cyrenus Singer. He attended schools here, graduating in 1951. He was very involved in high school sports, especially track and football. He was selected All-Conference end in 1950. He worked for Nash-Finch and later for the Railroad. He worked for Halliburton from 1953- 1969. His work for Halliburton took him to Iran and Saudi Arabia and allowed him to travel throughout Europe. In 1969 he bought the Frontier Bar and operated it until 1978, when he retired. Surviving are Sue and Peter Ruble, Alice Ruble & Mike Wells, David, Debbie, Jesica and Christopher Singer, Jolene Singer, Ashley and Ryan Muse, Linda, Paul, Ian, & Cora Eva Froning.
