Wilbur L. BegueWilbur L. ?Willie? Begue, age 82, of Louisville, loving husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa, passed away Friday, February 13, 2004, in the Laurels of Massillon following an extended illness. Willie was born November 16, 1921 in Akron to the late Louis and Mary (Frank) Begue. Willie was a former car salesman for Ron Peterson Volkswagen, retiring in 1981. He was a proud army veteran, having served his country in World War II with the 10th Armored Division. Willie was an avid gardener and a craftsman when working with wood. He enjoyed playing bingo and euchre. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Forrester?s and St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. Willie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marguerite ?Peggy? (Haren) whom he married January 4, 1947; four daughters, Linda Taylor of Louisville, Pamela (John) Kuhn of Alliance, Ellen (Gary) Livick of N. Canton and Janeen (Jim) Jones of Louisville; six sons, Dennis (Jennifer) Begue of Cincinnati, Edward (Hilda) Begue of N. Canton, Theodore (Monica) Begue of Louisville, Timothy (Marilou) Begue of Louisville, Tony (Teresa) Begue of Louisville and Daniel (Michelle) Begue of Louisville; five sisters; three brothers; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Begue, two sisters and one brother. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Monday 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made in Willie?s name to St. Louis Catholic Church.
