Anna Marie McArdle
was taken to heaven in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Chapel Hill Community, Canal Fulton. She was 83 and had been born March 5, 1928 in Harrisburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Ann (Frank) Begue. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a 1946 graduate of Marlboro High School. She was a retired employee of the Chapel Hill Community, where she worked in the housekeeping department and was a former member of St. Paul Catholic Church in North Canton.
Preceded in death by her son, Michael McArdle, Sr.; sisters, Gladys Begue and Margie Hennis; and brothers, Donald, Richard and Wilbur Begue. She is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Randal) Yoder of East Canton and Maria (Gregory) Gray of Akron; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Thomas of Canton, Eleanor Rutter of Massillon, Pauline Callendine and Norma Rich, both of Louisville; brothers, Harold and Louis Begue of Louisville; several nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to thank the caring staff at Chapel Hill for their loving care of her for the past 3 1/2 years.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be TUESDAY 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 218 N. Chapel, Louisville with Fr. Lawrence Frient officiating. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. Friends may call MONDAY 5-8 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chapel Hill Communiity, 12200 Strausser NW, Canal Fulton or Mercy Medical Center Hospice, 7568 Whipple Rd., North Canton, OH 44720.
