WOODSFIELD - Harlan H. Billman, 76, of Woodsfield, died Monday (March 20, 2006) at the Barnesville Hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Monroe County, son of the late Charles Billman and Laura Yoho Billman.
Mr. Billman was owner of Billman Drilling Water, Gas & Oil Production, and a former supervisor at Olin Aluminum Corp. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Korean War aboard the USS Midway.
He was a member of the Hometown Breakfast Club.
He leaves his wife of 56 years, Corrine Walter Billman of Woodsfield; five children, Michael (Kate) Billman of Decatuer, Ga., Laura (Wayne) Cline and Mark (Misty) Billman, both of Woodsfield, Linda (Charles) Billman Manneschmidt of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lisa (Kevin) Potts of New Concord; a brother, Tom Billman of Washington, D.C.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where private services will be Thursday with the Rev. Frank Lehosky officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Corrine Walter Billman, Woodsfield; three daughters, Laura (Wayne) Cline, Woodsfield, Linda (Charles) Billman Manneschmidt of Knoxville, TN, Lisa (Kevin) Potts, New Concord; two sons, Michael (Kate) Billman, Decatur, GA, Mark (Misty) Billman, Woodsfield; brother, Tom Billman, Washington, D.C.; nine grandchildren, Benjamin Cline, Adrienne Cline, Jason Billman, Eric Billman, Alicia Billman, Sebastian Billman, Jason Horvath, Dillon Potts and Taylor Potts; two great-granddaughters, Chloe and Kynlie Cline; several nieces and nephew.
Friends were received March 22 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where private services were held March 23 with Rev. Frank Lehosky officiating. Burial in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
