      MICHEL - CUENOT
      Bore an altar of ferns and gladioli at Sacred Heart of Mary
      Church in Harrisburg, August 1, Miss Jane Michel, daughter of Mr.
      and Mrs. Carl Michel, and Pfc. Francis Cuenot, son of Mr. and Mrs.
      Frank Cuenot, were united in marriage by Rev. Fr. Ernest J. Smith,
      using the double ring ceremony.
      The bride was beautiful in her gown of white tulle with a
      long train. Her fingertip veil was beaded with orange blossoms, and
      she wore a strand of pearls, a gift from the bridegroom, and carried a
      spray of white roses. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
      Miss Mary Alice Corbett of Canton, her maid of honor,
      wore an ice blue gown of satin and net with head dress to match and
      carried a spray of yellow roses. Her four bridesmaids were Miss Ileen
      Ruflin of Maximo, Doris Samblanet, Marcella Frank and Agnes Frank,
      all of Louisville, all wore pastel shades and carried red roses. The
      miniature bride and groom were little Miss Jonita Chenevey and Mark
      Michel, brother of the bride, dressed identically as the bride and groom.
      Mr. Virgil Michel, TM@/c , brother of the bride, was
      best man. The mothers were dressed in black and wore corsages of red
      roses.
      Ushers were Paul Hoover, cousin of the groom, and Mr. Richard
      Michel, brother of the bride.
      Nuptial music was furnished by Misses Rita Mae Haidet and
      Edna Frank with Miss Ileen Haidet at the organ.
      A wedding dinner for the wedding party and immediate families
      was served at the home of the brides parents. A reception was held
      during the afternoon and evening, after which the happy couple left for
      a short honeymoon trip.
      Pfc. Cuenot will report at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas, August
      26, and the bride will resume her duties on Monday as cashier at the IGA
      Super Market in Louisville. Both the bride and groom are popular young
