Donald D. Stewart, 68, of 206 Long St., died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday (August 3, 1985) at Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville.
He was born March 13, 1917, in Columbus, a son of the late Pearl and Ida Schaub Stewart.
He was a retired superintendent of Northwood Cemetery, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
On Nov. 5, 1942, he married to Billie June Fortney, who survives. He also leaves two sons, Tom and Dona A. both of Cambridge; one daughter, Mrs. William (Carolyn) Mitchell of Cambridge; five grandchildren.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today at Thorn Funeral Home, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Reverend Eldon Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
