She was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Humboldt, Kansas, to John and Emma (Breiner) Dietrich. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1936. She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Alter Society. She married Ned E. Watts on April 19, 1938, in Humboldt. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1994. Survivors include six children and their spouses, Jean and Alex Stuchlik, Lost Springs, KS, Cecil and Kathleen Watts, Phyllis and Craig Thompson and Michael and Barbara Watts, all of Chanute, KS, Nancy and Greg Krueger, Derby, KS, and Tim and Cheryl Watts, Wamego, KS; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Dietrich, Humboldt, KS; and two sisters, Sister Jude Dietrich, Oklahoma City, OK, and Cecilia Miller, Des Moines, IA. She was preceded in death by two sisters, four brothers, and a great-grandson. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Chanute, KS.
