Birth: Sep. 8, 1885 Clay County Illinois, USA Death: Jul. 28, 1967 Cullom Livingston County Illinois, USA Obituary from Pontiac Daily Leader, 7/29/1967, pg. 2: Mrs. Benner, 81, Dies; Funeral To Be Sunday Cullom - Mrs. Louella Benner, 81, died at 7:45 a.m. Friday a the home of her son, Cletus Colclasure in Kempton. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Cullom Methodist Church, the Rev. Paul Meredith officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Stewart Funeral Home. Mrs. Benner was born at Xenia Sept. 8, 1885, a daughter of Henry T. and Clara (Stevens) Whitman. She was married to Andrew Colclasure at Xenia in 1903. He died in 1912. She then married Earl Benner at Xenia in 1913. He died in 1956. Surviving are three sons, Vasco Colclasure, Cullom, Cletus Colclasure, Kempton; Rex Benner, Pasadena, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Pansy Wilson, Stover, Mo.; stepson, Dayton Benner, Kempton; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Songer, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Howard Songer and Mrs. Hobart Rush, both of Xenia; 20 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
