Amedus W. Schrader, age 93, of Canton, died Wednesday evening in ReginaHealth Center, Richfield, OH, after an extended illness. Born in Louisville,to the late, Edward H. and Mary L. (Violand) Schrader. He was a machinistwho worked for Republic Steel, and then co-owned the Wagener-Schrader SteamPump Co., which merged with Canton Stoker Corp., from which he retired. Hewas a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Louisville K of C Council#2530, the Canton Moose, and the N.R.A. In addition to his parents he waspreceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. (Karcher) Schrader who died in1963; brothers, Thomas, Raymond, and Joseph; sister, Theodosia Soehnlen. Heis survived by a son, Richard J. of Brighton, MA; daughters, Sr. MarySchrader C.S.J. of Cleveland, OH, and Kathryn M. Oliver of Canton; brothers,Bernard A. of Richmond, CA, and Robert M. of Louisville; sisters, BeatriceI. Seiser and Joan R. Crock both of Louisville; grandchildren, Matthew,Louis (Lezlie), Patricia, and Rebecca Oliver. Mass of Christian Burial willbe Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Msgr.
