Memorial services for Marguerite (Salzano) Dauenhauer, age 91, of Mentor, will be 5 p.m. Friday, October 16, at St. Anselm Church, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Mrs. Dauenhauer died Oct. 11, 2009, at Manor Care of Willoughby. Born March 24, 1918, in Cleveland, she lived in Willoughby before moving to Mentor 16 years ago.
Mrs. Dauenhauer worked as a seamstress for various employers before her retirement. Survivors are her sons, William Dauenhauer of Willowick and Alfred (Patricia) Dauenhauer of Mentor; daughter, Roberta (James) Sweany of Mentor; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Dauenhauer of Mentor; grandchildren, Juliet Sweany, Emily Meister, and Ken, Scott and Stephanie Dauenhauer; and great-grandchildren, Ian Meister, Leah Campbell, Jackson Dauenhauer, and Harley and Tyler Viney.She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Dauenhauer; son, Timothy; six brothers; and one sister. Father John Blazek will officiate at services. Burial will be at Willoughby Cemetery. The family suggests contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, or to Alzheimer's Association, or to St. Anselm Church.
