ASHLAND -- Jo Ann Bott, 72, died Sunday, May 22, 2005, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
On May 3, 1933, in Bannock, Ohio, Mrs. Bott was born to Jacob and Irene Murray Speicher.
She had been a resident of Ashland County since 1955.
Mrs. Bott was a registered nurse working for Dr. M.D. Shilling and formerly at Samaritan Hospital.
She was a member of Nankin Federated Church and American Legion Auxiliary.
On January 8, 1955, she married Ronald E. Bott who survives. Also surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Olaf Nielsen of Bath, Ohio; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Marjorie Speicher of Tallmadge, Kenneth and Dee Speicher of Tallmadge, and Richard and Judy Speicher of Wadsworth.
Mrs. Bott was preceded by her parents, and a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Carol Speicher.
Services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2005, 11 a.m. at Nankin Federated Church, 795 Ohio 302, Nankin, with Pastor Jerry Au officiating. Interment will be at Nankin Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday evening 7 to 9 p.m. at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Nankin Federated Church, 795 Ohio 302, Nankin, OH 44848.
