Bio: Virgil Donald Seebaugh, 89, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away March 21st, 2018, at Camden Clark Medical Center.He was born December 24th, 1928, a son of the late Peter and Hazel Knight Seebaugh.He is remembered as an honest, hard working man that loved his family immensely.Virgil worked and retired as a press operator at Walker Parkersburg for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, earning two bronze stars, a purple heart, and a Korean Service Medal. He enjoyed dancing, clogging, 2-stepping, bluegrass music, farming, and gardening.He is survived by his daughter Brenda Donahue (Rocky); granddaughter Chrystal "Kiki" Adams (Rick); grandson Ethan Donahue; great- grandchildren Elijah Blue, Dashiell Luke, and Wylie Brier Adams, whom he loved with all his heart; brothers Ellis "Skip" Seebaugh, Ercie Seebaugh; and sister Virginia Simon, all of Parkersburg.Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ava Marie Ruddlesden Seebaugh, and brothers Hershel and Ernest Seebaugh.Services will be held Saturday, March 24th, at 4 pm at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg.Visitation will be from 2:30-4pm, pastor Frank Miller officiating.The family asks that you join them for a time of celebration and remembrance at the Leavitt Family Center, following the service.Graveside service will be held Sunday the 25th, at the Oddfellows cemetery in Harrisville, WV at 11 A.M.Leavitt Funeral HomeMarch 2018
