From the Huntington Herald Press Online, March 8, 1999Mary M. Will, 82, rural Ossian, died at 10:50 a.m. Friday (March 5, 1999) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Mrs. Will was the manager at Mary's Cafe, Markle. She was a 1934 graduate of Huntington High School. She was born on Sept. 16, 1916, in Huntington County, to Fred J. and Leona V. Barter Deiser. On Sept. 23, 1935, in Fort Wayne, she married Kenneth D. Will. He died on Jan. 19, 1991. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Carol Sue) Thomas, Uniondale; a son, Dale "Butch" Will, Junction City, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one sister, Helen Durham, Chattanooga, Tenn. Preceding her in death were two sisters, Patricia Keller and Rita Hale; and two brothers, Max Deiser and Maurice Deiser. Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Bill Peterson officiating.
