Geldmacher, 56, of Lewisville died at 5 a.m. Saturday, January 18,196[8]9 at Marietta Memorial Hospital following a long illness.Born January 25, 1912, in Lewisville, he was the son of William and Minnie Yoe Geldmacher.He was a mechanic and welder by trade and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge in Stafford, Scottish Rite of Cambridge.Surviving are his widow, Lola Schockling Geldmacher; a son, Glenn Gayle of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Myron (Yolanda) Cline of Burgoon near Cleveland; a step-daughter, Mrs. Kay Whittacre of Graysville; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Hankinson of Galloway, Mrs. Irene Young of near Lewisville, Mrs. Wilma (Thurman) Christman of near Woodsfield and Mrs. Melba Strouse of Saint Louis, Missouri; two brothers Fred of Cleveland and Raymond of Grantville, Utah; three grandchildren.Friends may call at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home in Woodsfield.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Reverend Wilmer Grunwald officiating.
