- Wedding announcement:
WOODSFIELD - Henry Miller and Miss Ida Gallagher
were united in marriage in the Church of the Assumption
in Barnesville Saturday morning [1 Dec 1945] with Fr.
Rudolph officiating.
They were attended by Miss Virginia Chappell and
Pvt. Paul Miller, brother of the groom. Following the
ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home
of the bride?s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gallagher
of Barnesville Route 1. Those present were Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Miller and family, Mrs. Elmer Thonen and children,
Mrs. Annie Miller, Paul Miller, Mrs. Bertha Carpenter
and son, and Mrs. and Mrs. Lawrence Gallagher and
children.
The groom is a son of Mrs. Annie Miller of Jerusalem
Route 1. Mr. and Mrs. Miller will make their home on
Jerusalem Route 1 where he is engaged in farming.
