- Miss Clara Donant, a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Joseph Donant of Massillon, and Roman Zwick, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Zwick of Louisville, were married Tuesday morning. The ceremony was performed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Massillon in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends.
The bride wore a beautiful gown of white crepe satin with a veil and carried a shower bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley. Her attendant was her cousin, Miss Eva Louise Donant who wore a gown of peach colored canton crepe and carried a bouquet of sunburst roses. The maid of honor was Miss Florence Anthony of Canton. She was dressed in orchid crepe. The flower girl, Miss Gladys Wantz, was beautiful in a gown of Nile green crepe de Chine and carried a basket of pink roses. The color scheme in the decorations was green and white. Mr. Zwick has as his attendant his brother, John Zwick.
After the ceremony a breakfast was served at the bride’s home. Mr. and Mrs. Zwick are fine young people, with many friends who gave them beautiful gifts and extend best wishes. After a short wedding trip they will locate in Canton. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Zwick and family, Mrs. and Mrs. Sebastian Zwick, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schoepner, M. W. Zwick of Louisville, and Mrs. Lucetta Haren of Woodsfield, Ohio, and Mrs. George Schoepner, of Noble county, who are visiting in this vicinity. [Louisville Herald]
