  [S927] Obituary. Ronald C. Rounds Sr. Colonie -- Ronald C. Rounds Sr., 58, died Thursday, June 12, 2003 at Ellis Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Troy and was the son of the late Edwin and Lila Wescott Rounds. Ron had worked as warehouse supervisor at Cablevision in North Greenbush. He also worked at the Bowlers Club and Latham Bowl for several years. Ron was a longtime volunteer and coach at Colonie Little League and Colonie Babe Ruth. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed competing in fantasy baseball leagues. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Phyllis Muellecker Rounds. He is the beloved father of Ronald C. Rounds, Jr. (Betsy), Michaele A. Rounds (Al Southard) and Jennifer A. Rounds (Rick Robichaud). Grandfather of Sarah, Maddison, Alison and Corey. He is the brother of Ed, Clarence and Robert Rounds, Joan Moore, Joyce Appelman, June Gardner and the late Claude Rounds. Best friend of Jim Bagley and Tigger. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Radiation Oncology, Ellis Hospital, 1101 Nott Street, Schenectady, NY 12308.
