  [S927] Obituary. ROTH. Died 30-05-1981. Earl David Roth, 44 of Rural Route 4, Jerseyville died May 30, 1937 at Chicago West Side Veterans hospital. He was born March 14, 1937 in Calhoun County, a son of Joseph & Sadie (Hazelwonder) Roth. Roth was an auto bodyman at Milner Chevrolet in St. Louis. He was a veteran of the Korean war and a member of St. Francis Xavier church and Jerseyville Moose Lodge. He is survived by 3 Brothers, Alfred of Magalia, California, Loren of Orlando, Florida and Joseph of San Diego, California; 4 Sisters, Mildred Kirbach, Anna Retzer and Janet Klunk of Jerseyville and Melba Friedel of Bethalto. The funeral mass was celebrated at 10 am Thursday at St. Francis Xavier church with Father Patrick Morrow celebrant. Burial will be in St. Francis cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Francis church building fund. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Wednesday at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home in Jerseyville. (Unknown contributor - THANK YOU!)
