BAKER DIES MONDAY AT HOME IN CALDWELLCALDWELL - Mrs. Louise Zwick Baker, 74, wife of Joseph Baker, died suddenly at the home on Main street Monday morning [7 Aug 1939] at 8:30 o?clock. Mrs. Baker had been an invalid since last December and was stricken while seated in her wheelchair. A physician was called but death occurred within a few minutes after he arrived at the home. Mrs. Baker was well known in Caldwell and Noble county. The family moved to Caldwell from Lewisville 19 years ago. She was a daughter of Martin and Margaret Hohman Zwick, and was born at Lewisville, Monroe county. She was the last surviving member of her family.Mrs. Baker was the mother of five children, all of whom survive. The are Mrs. Edward Schott of Canal Fulton, Herman Baker of Lewisville, Miss Leona Baker of Cleveland, Mrs. H.T. Crum of New Concord, and Miss Emma Baker of the home. There are 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at St. Philomena Catholic church conducted by Rev. Fr. Louis B. Preston. Interment will be made in Olive cemetery. The body was removed to the Murphy funeral home and arrangements are in charge of funeral Director Brubach of Summerfield.
