  [S927] Obituary. Sylvia HeilPINE ISLAND, Minn. - Sylvia E. Heil, 98, of Pine Island, Minn., died on April 9, 2004, at Pine Haven Care Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church in Zumbrota, Minn. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Brooklawn Memory Garden Cemetery in Marshfield. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the church.She was born on June 25, 1905, in Fremont to William C. and Ida (Marquardt) Ploeger. Sylvia worked in Marshfield as a housemaid and nursemaid. On Oct. 5, 1929, she was married to Erwin Otto Heil in Elderon. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Marshfield until Erwin's retirement in 1985. They moved to Pine Island, and Erwin died on Jan. 6, 1989.She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (Morris) Feiock, Garden Grove, Calif., and Joanne (Bill) Sanborn, Pine Island, Minn.; one foster son, James (Rhonda) Bricco, Winneconne; one sister, Frieda Koch, Wittenberg; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
