Mary Claire Bonnet Bahlinger

BATON ROUGE ? Mary Claire Bonnet Bahlinger, (Mrs. Peter Fabacher Sr.), died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.The Rev. Gerald Burns will officiate.Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.She was born June 15, 1926, and was a native and resident of Baton Rouge.She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, St. Aloysius Altar Society and Aloysius Delicious alumna of St. Joseph?s Academy, Louisiana State University and Alpha Delta Pi Social Sorority. She was past president of Catholic High School Mother?s Club.She is survived by her husband, Peter Fabacher Bahlinger Sr.; four daughters and sonsinlaw, Bonnie Claire Hyfield, of Baton Rouge, Janet Marie and Thad Chaney, of Livingston, La., Margaret Lynne (Peggy) and David Lee Whatley and Christine Althea (Tina) and David Francis Currier, both of Baton Rouge; three sons and daughters-in-law, Peter F. and Lisa Chidester Bahlinger Jr., of Baton Rouge, Richard John and Andi Meyer Bahlinger, of Tulsa, Okla., and Gerald Matthew and Alice Bilisoly Bahlinger, of Mandeville, La.; one sister-in-law, Deanna Bonnett, of Ocala, Fla.; grandchildren, Amy Alta Elizabeth Hyfield Moore and spouse, Justin Michael Moore, James Arthur Thomas Hyfield, Emily Christina Grace Hyfield, Peter Fabacher (Trey) Bahlinger III, Courtney Leigh Bahlinger Chaney and husband, Joe Chaney, Brittany Elizabeth Bahlinger, Mark Benjamin Bahlinger, Erin Elizabeth Olivier Bahlinger, Meagan Alta Chaney, Blair Marie Chaney, Christopher David Whatley, Stephen Michael Whatley, Katherine Claire Currier, Melissa Claire Currier, Mary Elizabeth Bahlinger, Michelle Jeanette Bahlinger, Matthew Lawrence Bahlinger and Molly Kathleen Bahlinger; two greatgrandsons, Alexander Bryce Chaney and Tyler Gavin Chaney; one great-granddaughter, Alexis Danielle Chaney; and a friend of the family, Beverly M. Wilson.She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Lee Bonnet Sr. and Alta Nesser Bonnet, of Baton Rouge; and a brother, Arthur Lee Bonnet Jr., of Ocala, Fla.Visitation will be observed at Aloysius Catholic Church, 2025 Stuart Ave. from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, and will continue from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. before Mass on Monday.Donations may be made to St. Aloysius Child Care Center, 1957 Stuart Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70808; Sacred Heart School Development Program, 2251 Main Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70806 or to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Seigen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.Rabenhorst Funeral Home of Baton Rouge is in charge of arrangements.
