Bio: Cynthia Robin Cogan Clark, passed away October 6, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on Christmas Day, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Dr. John E. Cogan and Naomi Robins Cogan. Robin is preceded in death by her loving father, Dr. John E. Cogan, her paternal grandparents Myles and Ruth Cogan and her maternal grandparents Lois and Neal Robins. Robin is survived by her beloved daughter, Alexandra Jaclyn Clark, her mother Naomi Robins Cogan, her lifelong friend and former husband John Howard Clark, her extended family, Muriel Clark, ReeRee and Jay Friedman, Michael Clark, Laura and Fritz Weiss, Amy and Jeff Tomkins, and her sister Laura Cogan Singleton, and eleven nieces and nephews.Robin attended Saint John's School and graduated from Lamar High School in Houston. She earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of New Orleans. Robin was a talented artist and had a passion for design; including creating custom jewelry, gardening, interior design and flower arranging. She was past president of Lake Terrace Garden Club in New Orleans, Louisiana, and she volunteered at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans. More recently she worked as a real estate professional for King Realty in San Antonio.Robin was blessed with a brilliant mind and innate artistic creativity. Robin will always be remembered for her flair for the extraordinary in every endeavor she undertook. Her zeal to create the perfect ambiance for every festive occasion will be sorely missed by her entire family. Robin's greatest accomplishment was being a mother and best friend to her daughter Alexandra. Robin was a loyal mother, daughter and friend. Her quick wit and vivacious spirit made her light up every room she entered. Though she is no longer with us physically, Robin's spirit abides in the hearts and minds of those who knew her and loved her. This world has lost a sister and a friend who departed way too early, but who touched countless people not only with her brilliance, creativity and honesty, but also with her many expressions of kindness, compassion and boundless generosity. There will be a celebration of Robin's life at the home of Ree Ree and Jay Friedman in San Antonio at 5pm on Tuesday October 19, 2011. All of Robin's friends are welcome to come by and share their memories of Robin.
