RAMUTA, JOHN RICHARD
Age 67 years. Died Monday, October 21, 1985 at the Imperial Nursing Home. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident.
Employed as manager of the A & P Supermarket in Joliet for many years, retiring four years ago, and at Rudy's Supermarket in Joliet.
A World War II veteran. Member of VFW Cantigny Post #367, Moran A.C. and the K.S.K.J. St. Francis Lodge #29.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred M. (Munch) Ramuta of Joliet, one sister, Ann Savol (Joseph) of Joliet, three brothers, Frank (Molly) Ramuta of Joliet, Edward (Helen) Ramuta of Joliet, and Joseph (Frances) Ramuta of Sun City, AZ, a sister-in-law, Louise Ramuta of Joliet, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rose (Barbich) Ramuta, one sister, Josephine Sumic, two brothers, Rudolph and William Ramuta. Funeral services for John Richard Ramuta will be held Thursday, October 24, 1985 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 251 N. Center at Campbell Sts. to St. Joseph Catholic Church Joliet for a Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment Hills of Rest Cemetery. Committal services at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, October 23, 1985 from 4-9 p.m. Memorials to St. Joseph Grade School or charity of your choice.
