Birth: Nov. 30, 1926 North Dakota, USA Death: Oct. 5, 2013 Burleigh County North Dakota, USA Rose A. Heinert, 86, Bismarck, died October 5, 2013 in a Bismarck care center. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 11, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck. Rose was born on November 30, 1926, near Solen, ND, to George and Katherine (Leingang) Schmidt. Rose married Adam Heinert on September 4, 1944, at Solen. Through their lives they lived in Mandan, Minot, and Bismarck. Rose was an active member of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Church in Bismarck. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary for 52 years. Rose enjoyed gardening, dancing (especially the Polka), and baking which she often shared with her family. Rose is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Edward (Carol) Heinert, Muskego, WI, Donald (Rosalind) Heinert, Ripley, NY, Robert (Diane) Heinert, Fergus Falls, MN; grandchildren: Michael Heinert, Joanna (Ben) Pell, Scott (Jennifer) Heinert, Mark (Michelle) Heinert, Christina Rose Heinert, Dr. Eric (Sara) Heinert, Anthony Heinert, Brett Heinert; six great grandchildren; and two sisters: Katherine (George) Geiger and Peggy (Anton) Sturn. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Adam, brothers, John, Joe, George, Jack, Anton, and Peter; sisters: Elizabeth Heinert, Mathilda Friesz, Bertha Leingang, and Monica Geiger.
