Services were held March 18 at Zion Lutheran Church in Delmont with burial at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Delmont. Mildred Esther Denke Dutro, 82, Delmont, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Spearfish Regional Hospital, Spearfish. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Delmont. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Koehn Brothers Funeral Home, Parkston, is handling arrangements. Mildred was born on Aug. 23, 1938, in rural Delmont to Alvin and Margaret (Fink) Goehring.She graduated from eighth grade at a country school north of Delmont in 1942. In 1946, she graduated from Delmont High School. She attended Spearfish Normal Teachers College and earned her teaching certificate. She taught at a rural school and then married Theodore Denke in Wall.Theylived and farmed north of Delmont. Her husband died on Feb. 6, 1986.On Jan. 3, 1987, she married Howard B. Dutro.Her husband died on Oct. 7, 1989. She is survived by four children: Sharon Vaughn and husband Billy, Spearfish; Gary Denke and wife Susan; and Teresa Villmow and husband Dave, all of Delmont; and Marsha Green and husband Curt, Rapid City; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers: Lotar Goehring and wife, Luella, Delmont; and Marvin Goehring and wife Shirley, Parkston; two brothers-in-law: Edwin Denke and wife Amy, Grants Pass, Ore.; and Benjamin Denke and wife Bert, Rapid City; and many nieces and nephews.
