She enjoyed needlepoint, shopping, and going to garage sales. She also enjoyed cooking German food for her children and grandchildren. Quite often you could find her enjoying one of many favored television programs. For several years, Adeline and her family enjoyed spending time at Golden Eagle Resort on Big Pine Lake near Perham, MN.
In 2005, she was admitted into Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo, ND. Adeline was very active in the nursing home and met many new friends. She spent her time playing games, attending social functions, and visiting with family and friends. Adeline will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Taryn, her parents, three brothers Lawrence, Eugene and Leonard, and two sisters, Alice Mantz and Violet Baron.
Adeline is survived by her husband, Melvin, of sixty one years; three sons Ron Almer, Turtle Lake, ND, Rick (Sara) Almer, West Fargo, ND, Terry (Tara) Almer, Fargo, ND; three daughters, Phyllis (Frank) Baumgardner, St. Paul, MN, Dorothy (Larry) Kraft, West Fargo, ND, Vicki (Art) Eberhardt, West Fargo, ND; two brothers, Jerry (Donna) Wahl, Dickinson, ND, Robert (Deanna) Wahl, Bismarck, ND; three sisters, Betty Wagner and Beverly (Eugene) Amelsberg, and Shirley (Elmer) Zimmerman, all of Bismarck, ND.
