  [S927] Obituary. Shawn M. Leisner, 59 of Bristow passed away May 22, 2012 at his home. He was born August 5, 1952 to Anthony and Olivia (Ubelhor) Leisner in Perry County. Shawn married Betty Jean Sandage on August 6, 1977 in Bristow. He was a graduate of Purdue University and was employed by Faith Technologies as an electrician. His hobbies included; watching western movies, gardening, hunting, playing the lottery, flower gardening, cutting wood, watching sports, enjoying his dogs and spending time with family. Shawn was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Surviving are his wife Betty Jean, Mother Olivia B. Leisner of Bristow, Daughters; Heather Leisner-Kerr of Lexington, KY. Courtney Leisner at home. One brother Marty Leisner of Ashland City, TN. Sisters; Carmen Kreider of Memphis, TN., Jan (Tom) Douglas of Peoria, IL., Pam (Jerry) Marshall of Lake Zurich, IL. 3 grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Shawn was preceded in death by his father Anthony. Friends may call from 2-8:00 P.M. CDT Thursday May 24th at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand, and from 9-10:00A.M. Friday at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Bristow. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday in St. Isidore Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Bristow Town Cemetery.
