CATHERINE A. McDANIEL
Catherine Agnes McDaniel, 72, Logan, died Sunday, Dec. 20 at her residence following a brief illness.
Born Nov. 4, 1926, Logan, daughter of the late Joseph Francis and Mary Magdalene Schrader Krannitz, she was married to Jay Junior McDaniel, who survives.
She was a homemaker and has worked as a reading aide for 14 years with the Logan-Hocking School District. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ron (Victoria Lee) Flood of Logan, Mrs. Don (Rebecca Ann) Fritz of Brecksville and Mrs. Harlan (Mary Jane) Howard of London; six sons, Terry Jay McDaniel, Peter Kim (Marsha) McDaniel and William Joseph McDaniel, all of Logan, Stephen Andrea (Patty) McDaniel of Dallas, Texas, John Jay McDaniel of Columbus and Donald Jay (Renee) McDaniel of Howard; 16 grandchildren; six sisters, Mary Margaret White of Bonita Springs, Fla., Mrs. Raymond (Joan) Kunkler, Mrs. Lucille Kunkler, Mrs. Charles (Betty) Roop and Mrs. Ed (Ann) Kilbarger, all of Logan, and Mrs. Dale (Dorothy) Olive of Lancaster; and three brothers, James Krannitz and Charles Krannitz, both of Lancaster, and John Krannitz of Logan.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Francis McDaniel.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Richard J. Pendolphi officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be held at 8.
