Christman, 87, of 3147 Route 2, Lewisville, died February 14, 1992, at Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio. He was born March 2, 1904, in Monroe County, Ohio, a son of the late Jacob and Mary Ackerman Christman. He is survived by his wife, Goldie Grace Slack Christman; two sons, James of Barnesville, Ohio and Donald of Canton, Ohio; five daughters, Mary Stephens of Warren, Bertha Tucker of Canton, Michigan, Sylvia Miser and Zelda Rohrabaugh, both of Cambridge, Ohio, and Barbara Kehl of Salesville, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Ella) Kahrig, of Lewisville route; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son; three brothers, Clem Christman, Herman (Pet) Christman, and Homer Christman; a sister, Freda Renker; three grandchildren. Friends were received February 16 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio, where services were held at 1 p.m. February 17 with Minister James W. Gallagher officiating.
