Schumacher, Donald F. Munith, MI (formerly of Ypsilanti)
Age 59, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009. He was born February 19, 1950 in Muncie, IN, the son of Leonard E. and Margaret L. (Stetson) Schumacher. On January 17, 1976, he married Joyce G. Golla and she survives. Don retired from the Ann Arbor Post Office. He loved everything outdoors, even mowing. He will be forever missed by family and friends. In addition to his loving wife of 33 years, survivors include: two sons, Chris (Kim) and Jason (Jessica); sister, Diane (Frank); and sister-in-law, Mary (Lonnie). He was the beloved Papa to seven grandchildren, Dominick, Tyler, Katie, Shawn, Michaela, Lucas and Tyler and great granddaughter, Autumn Marie. The funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2009 at Stark Funeral Service Moore Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions for expenses would be appreciated. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of service Thursday.
