Friday, Jan. 25, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Huntingburg. She was born June 23, 1926, at Siberia, the daughter of Ella (Merkley) Paulin of Bristow, who survives, and the late Anthony Paulin. On Nov. 4, 1948, she was united in marriage to Lawrence J. Gehlhausen, who preceded her in death April 30, 1984. Surviving are a son, Gary Gehlhausen of Bristow, a sister, Mrs. Rudolph (Eileen) Gehlhausen of Bristow; two brothers, Richard Paulin of Bristow and Earl Paulin of Siberia; and three grandchildren. Services were held at 10 am. Monday, Jan. 28 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Bristow, with burial in the church cemetery. Becher Funeral Home, Ferdinand, was in charge of arrangements, where the parish rosary was recited Sunday evening.
