CALDWELL — Lester C. (Sonny) Crock, 64, of Caldwell, died
Saturday (July 7, 2001) at his residence. He was born May
29, 1937, in Noble County, son of the late Linus U. Crock,
who passed away in 1981, and Clara Margaret (Noll) Crock
of Caldwell.
Mr. Crock was a 1955 graduate of Caldwell High School. He
was retired from National Engineering, Strongsville; a member
of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; the
Caldwell Moose and Eagles; and a social member of the Cald-
well Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his mother, he leaves two daughters, Teresa S.
(Michael) Milam, of North Ridgeville, and Nancy E. (Paul)
Brazie of Green; his companion, Juanita Fisher of the home;
three sisters, Joanne (Trix) Saling of Caldwell; Jean Pearson
of Erlanger, Ky.; Donna (Jim) Boyce of St. Mary’s, W.Va.; three
brothers, Vernon (Jenny) Crock of Lower Salem; Cletus Crock
of Marietta; Ray (Virgelene) Crock of Caldwell; four grandchild-
ren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where a vigil
service will be at 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Funeral liturgy with mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary
of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Samuel
Soprano officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
