Event: Anecdote
At one time Forest ran away with a circus to play the trombone in the circus band; however, he left the trombone lying on the
ground in the circus lot and the elephant stepped on it. Robert Frazier inherited the trombone and played it in the ROTC
band at Ohio State until he got promoted to the marching band which didn't use trombones. According to Bob, by that time,
the trombone had been pulled back into shape, but there was a definite set of dents which made some of the low notes hard to
get.
