Roberta Lynn Hoff, daughter of Thelma (Bertsch) and Clarence Hoff, was born July 28, 1961 at the Eureka Community Hospital. She was brought up in Eureka and attended Eureka Public School. At age 18, Roberta relocated to Aberdeen, SD where she was a client at the Adjustment Training Center (currently called Aspire). With them, Roberta held various jobs. Around 10 years ago, she was diagnosed with cardiac problems and returned to Eureka where she has lived since. She belonged to the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed television, especially ?Roseanne?, ?Golden Girls?, and ?All in the Family?. Roberta was blessed with a great memory for dates that various family events occurred.
Roberta is survived by her mother, Thelma, one uncle, several aunts, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father on July 4, 2007 and a dear friend, Pam Trautman. Roberta commented many times how badly she missed her dad and her family finds comfort in thinking about the reunion she and Clarence had Saturday night.
Honorary bearers will be the many people who helped Roberta along the way with special recognition to Margie Wald.
Casketbearers will be Tim Joachim of Fargo, ND, Steve Koch of Kennebec, SD, Barry Lapp of Eureka, Norland Bratland of Aberdeen, Kylin Schnabel of Bismarck, ND, and Darvin Fischer of Ashley, ND.
