Birth: Nov. 28, 1904 Kossuth County Iowa, USA Death: Mar. 22, 1936 Livermore Humboldt County Iowa, USA March 27, 1936 - Humboldt Republican - Mrs. Henry Loerwald of LuVerne died last Sunday afternoon after an illness of only three days. She was being taken to a Fort Dodge hospital that afternoon but became worse when they reached Livermore. The patient was then taken to the Catholic church in Livermore and died within a short time. Her sister, Miss Gales, R.N., was with her. Mrs. Loerwald was the former Cecilia Gales, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Chris Gales of Livermore. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at the St. Joseph's church in St. Joe. She leaves her husband and two children, Charles, one year old, and Mary Ann, about 2 and 1/2 years, old her parents, and several brothers and sisters. St. Joe, Apr. 1 — A large audience attended funeral services for Mrs. Henry Loerwald last week Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic church here. The Rev. George Theobald read a requiem high mass, and interment took place in the local cemetery. Pallbearers were cousins of the deceased. ST. JOE - April 3 — A very large attendence witnessed funeral services for Mrs. Henry Loerwald last week Thursday morning at nine o'clock in St. Joseph's Catholic church. The Rev. George Theobald read a Requiem high mass and interment took place in the local cemetery. Pall bearers were six cousins of the deceased. Mrs. Loerwald was Cecelia Gales before her marriage in November 1932, to Henry Loerwald. Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mary Ann, 2 1/2 years old and a son, Charles, one year old; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Chris Gales, one brother, Aloysius; and eight sisters; and her grandmother Gales also survive.
