William S. Bissler, age 64, of 1101 West Maple St., North Canton, passed away Sunday evening in the home, from an apparent heart attack. Born in Alliance, OH, he lived practically his entire life in the Canton area and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army. He was a former employee of the Canton City Bus Lines, where he had worked for 20 years and at the time of his death was employed by the Stark County Engineers office as a radio dispatcher, where he had worked for the past seven years. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton, the Stark County Sherriff's Reserves and the Canton Amateur Radio Association. Survivors include his wife, Ilean Harmon Bissler of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Connie) Kieffer of Louisville and Mrs. Keith (Joann) Kuemerle of Canton; one sister, Mrs. Helen Stokes of North Canton, and five grandchildren.
